Introduction KromaSat— a practical tool designed to enhance your color grading workflow. The DCTL's integration of a RGB to HSL color space transformation allows for a more natural and pleasing way to adjust the saturation of your footage. In the HSL space, saturation is a distinct parameter, separate from the luminance information. This separation allows for independent adjustment of color intensity without impacting brightness, providing finer control over the visual impact of the colors.
- Only compatible with DaVinci Resolve Studio.
- This DCTL will NOT work with the free version of Resolve.

Subtractive color control
By working in HSV color space, you separate saturation from luminance resulting in saturation that is more pleasing and less gauntly. This leads to less clipping from traditional saturation methods, perceptually deeper colors & more filmic results.

KromaSat includes parameters for global saturation, reds, blues, greens and yellows allowing you complete control of your grade.
[Cleanup made easy]
Clean Highlights
By adding global saturation, you can sometimes introduce hues to highlights that are meant to stay de-saturated. With the clean highlights slider, you can cleanup highlights that may have been contaminated.
This is great for keeping skin tones natural or keeping white or neutral colors clean.
